Our organization picked Cvent and CrowdCompass for the registration process and registration integration with GoToWebinar. The set up was simple and the registration process was easy for our members to engage with. That said, there was a slight disconnect when we asked members to downloard the CrowdCompass app after the registration process was complete. They didn't quite understand why they had to login to a seperate system. We say less engagement for this event (Fall) versus our first event (Spring) where we simply used a form for registration and did all of our engagement through GoToWebinar without an app. Our members engage best with the least amount of steps and lowest barrier to entry. There is always a slight disconnect when using something new. I believe our members would do well if we were to use the same system again as they get used to the platform and we as a staff learn how to better communicate and execute the event. All in all, the platform did what we asked and was easy for our members to engage with.
